# Agents and permissions

Connect one helper or several. Each becomes an **agent** with a name, a role and its own permissions.

- **Same helper, several roles.** One for the shop, one for the books.
- **Different helpers, one team.** Each works on the same projects and reads the same memory.
- **Change any time.** Add or remove a helper. Your records stay.

An agent can do only what you allow, per app. What always waits for a person is described in [approvals](/docs/approvals/).

## Plan limits

Agent accounts: 10 on Pro, 50 on Premium, unlimited on Max.

> Some actions belong to owners and admins, such as refunding or cancelling an order, or switching a shop live.
